1.1. Introduction to Business Functions and Concepts
The aim of this course is to introduce the entrepreneurs with the concepts of business functions.
Basic functions of production, marketing, finance, organization and management are explained and the relations between procurement, product, sales channel and customers are covered in the course.
1.2. Prerequisites for Entrepreneurship and Ethics
The aim of this course is to introduce the qualifications and needs for entrepreneurship.
The qualifications and needs which emerge in parallel to the business idea are explained in conjunction with stages of the business.
1.3. Technological Opportunities and Horizons
The aim of this course is to encourage entrepreneurship in facilitation of technology in business.
A brief history of technological improvements is given, and different uses of technology in office administration, production and sales are explained by means of examples.
1.4. Research in Business
The aim of the course is to show the areas of need for research in business for which research is needed, such as marketing and major business functions are explored and the practical approaches are explained.
1.5. Creativity
The aim of this course is to encourage creative thinking.
For this purpose, real cases are given in order to explain how creativity can be used starting from business idea and product development, either by creating something new or improving the existing product or existing business model.
